Since Jan 2005, each year Madison's Foundation donates 320 overnight backpacks to the PICU at St. Paul Children's Hospital. Each backpack contains items needed for an overnight stay: toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoo/cond, bodywash, deodorant, lotion, chapstick, pen/paper, gum, and snack. These backpacks are given to the parents who find themselves in the PICU unexpectedly with a child battling a serious illness or injury.

Madison’s Place will be a barrier free playground, completely handicapped accessible, located at the Bielenberg Sports Center in Woodbury, MN where kids can play together regardless of their abilities or disabilities to foster friendships, acceptance and understanding.
The journey for Madison's Place started in May 2008 with an American Idol Finale Fundraiser that raised $15,000. Since that night 16 people have joined the playground committee to help this playground become a reality. The Woodbury Parks and Rec's Commission gave approval for the project in December 2008, giving us space at the Bielenberg Sports Complex. The Woodbury City Council approved the project in January 2009.
Help us reach our goal of $600,000 to build the playground where all children can play together - playgrounds should be for everyone!
Please consider making a donation to help create this tremendous community need. To learn more about the playground, please visit the Madison's Place page.
